Connections
"Helps girls make connections to their own heritage as well as to people who are different from them in areas ranging from race to social status."  (Daisy through Senior Girl Scouts)

Do You Have the Power
"There are two fun-filled activity guides: Girl Power! How to Get It for Junior Girl Scouts and Girl Power! Keep It Going for Cadette Girl Scouts. Each guide focuses on the importance of developing "Girl Power"—the power to speak your mind, to stand up for yourself, and to know what’s right for you."  (Junior and Cadette Girl Scouts)

Game Face (GS info)
"What does a female athlete look like? A new Girl Scout patch developed in conjunction with a book and traveling photography exhibit, "GAME FACE: What Does a Female Athlete Look Like," helps young girls consider that question. The goal of the patch program is to help girls nurture the athlete within by breaking stereotypes often associated with female athletes. Through art, history and writing activities, the GAME FACE badge optimistically influences girls' views of the female athlete — and ultimately of themselves."   Here is the official Game Face site.  (Brownie through Senior Girl Scouts)

Girl Scouts Go Global
Girl Scout Activities for World Peace Booklet
Increases international awareness through engaging activities and stimulating information. Written for Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts and their families.  (Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts

Girl Sports Basics
"GirlSports Basics, a component of the GirlSports initiative. This sports readiness project is designed for girls ages 5 to 8. GirlSports Basics provides a unique approach to locomotor and motor skills development. It is designed to be:  Easy for Girl Scout leaders to teach  -  Effective in developing sports skills in young girls, and...FUN!" (Daisy and Brownie Girl Scouts)

Girls are Great
"Covers "growing up female" issues such as self-image, peer pressure, feelings, the media and health."  (Daisy through Senior Girl Scouts)

In The Zone:  Living Drug Free
"These booklets encourage girls to find their “zone” by living a positive, healthy and drug free life. An accompanying adult guide provides advisors and parents with the tools they need to help young people stay drug free. Each booklet contains an age-appropriate resource list."  (Daisy through Senior Girl Scouts)

Learning About Government
"The booklets, written for Brownie to Senior Girl Scouts, include age appropriate activities focusing on various aspects of government."  (Brownie through Senior Girl Scouts)

Media Know-How
"The media exerts a powerful influence on American Society. Girls may acquire values and ideals from the messages and images they see and/or hear in newspapers, magazines, and movies, as well as on television or, most recently, the Internet. The Media Know-How booklets in the Issues for Girl Scouts series will help girls to think critically about the media. These booklets are packed with fun activities and important facts. Leaders and girls can use these new resources to become more media savvy consumers."  (Daisy through Senior Girl Scouts)

Our Rights, Our Responsibilities
"
Join with Girl Scouts and Girl Guides internationally to gain a greater awareness of human rights and why they are essential for children worldwide. The activities in this patch encourage you to take constructive responsibility for claiming basic rights for yourselves and for others. In the process you will be empowered to become effective citizens in your local and global communities."  (Junior Girls Scouts)

Read to Lead
"Encourages girls to develop their reading and writing skills and use those tools in creative ways to explore the world."  (Daisy through Senior Girl Scouts)

Strength in Sharing, Philanthropy in Girl Scouting
"The goal of Strength in Sharing is to build a generation of young women who support women's and children's causes through giving money and time, and who commit to lifelong philanthropy." (Daisy through Senior Girl Scouts)
