Leader Application Process

Below is a summary of the Leader Application Process.  This should help you determine where you are in the process!

  1. Receive the Volunteer Interest Packet from a School or Neighborhood Organizer.

  2. Send completed Leader Application Form to Neighborhood Chair in the provided pre-addressed envelope.

  3. Give your Volunteer Reference forms and pre-addressed envelopes to the three people you are asking for references.  Ask them to mail the completed reference as soon as possible!

  4. When the Neighborhood Chair has received your application and references, she/he will determine if a phone interview is necessary.  Your application will then be sent on to the Council Office for a background check.

  5. When the background check is completed, the Neighborhood Chair will make the final decision on approval.

You will be notified as soon as all these steps have been completed!
