Money Earning
Project Application
Don't Forget to Clear the Project!
Money earning projects are not a main focus of the Girl Scout Program.
You might think differently during cookie season, but it's the truth!
Money earning projects should be discussed only after it is determined
that proceeds from troop dues and the Cookie Program will not be enough to
run the troop and support any special projects.
Money should be used in the year it is earned. Exceptions are
made for Troops who have Intent to Travel forms on file at the Council
Office.
Turn in your Money Earning Project Application to your Neighborhood
Chair at least 4 weeks before the project date. You will receive a
copy from the Council office letting you know if your project has been
approved. DO NOT do your project unless you have received that form
copy granting you permission.
If your Troop decides it needs to do money earning projects to reach a
goal, there are many things to consider.
