Preparing for a Girl Scout Outing:  A Three-Step Process

 

   
   

Step 1

In Step 1, the leader reads the planning checkpoints that are universally applied to all activities.  They are general checkpoints that are considered before girls do any activity in Girl Scouting.

  1. Check off the following checkpoints applicable to your activity. 

  2. Hit the Submit Button. You will be taken to a page that will display your selections. 

  3. Print and use while preparing and planning for your Troop's activity.

 

   

Step 2 & 3

In Step 2, the leader reads the activity checkpoints that that apply to all activities listed under any category (water activities, land sports, camping activities).  In Step 3, the leader reads the checkpoints for the individual activity (swimming, sledding, hiking).

  1. Select your individual activity

  2. You will be taken to a page displaying the activity checkpoints for your chosen activity and the activity checkpoints for the category. 

  3. Print and use while preparing and planning for your Troop's activity
